Airstripping Columns are cylindrical packed tower scrubbers with integral sump and flat bottom. Airstripping Columns specifically treat contaminated ground water and storm water. Air Stripping Columns are complete with high-efficiency packing media, integral mist-eliminator liquid distributors, packing and sump access doors and are available from materials such as PVC, CPVC, Poly-Propylene, solid FRP & dual laminate.

Airstripping Columns
Airstripping columns are an economical solution for ground water remediation. They are low maintenance, high performance and simple in design.

Our airstripping columns are cylindrical packed towers with integral sump and flat bottom. Units are specifically designed to treat contaminated ground water. Air enters at the bottom of the column, flows upward thru the packing, and is discharged from the top. Water is introduced at the top of the column and gravity flows towards the bottom. Towers are fabricated in flanged sections to facilitate shipping, erection & maintenance. Towers are provided with liquid distributors within the vessel to ensure proper saturation of the packing media.

Airstripping columns are custom designed up to 12 foot diameter with flow rates in excess of 2,000 G.P.M.

Airstripping columns are complete with high-efficiency packing media, integral mistt-eliminator liquid distributors, packing and sump access doors and are available from materials such as PVC, CPVC, Poly-Propylene, solid FRP & dual laminate.

Airstripping systems come complete with AMCA certified blower, skid mounted & flanged sections for ease of installation & remote or skid mounted control panel.

Stripping columns can also be provided with an integral cleaning package consisting of recycle pump and spray cleaning chamber. Pumps are selected to deliver solution over the packing media in order to remove scale, slime or other material that may foul packing and inhibit performan
